*कविता:*
कवयित्री की माँ की एक पुरानी फोटो है, जब माँ 12 साल की थी। फोटो में माँ अपनी दो चचेरी बहनों के साथ समुद्र किनारे खड़ी है।
माँ बीच में है, दोनों बहनें उसका हाथ पकड़े हैं, मुस्कुरा रही हैं। हवा से बाल उड़ रहे हैं। समुद्र तट पर हैं।
माँ की वह फोटो देखकर कवयित्री की माँ हँसती थी और कहती थी - देखो, हम कैसे दिखते थे, डोली और बेटी कैसे उसके हाथ पकड़े हैं।
अब माँ मर चुकी है, 12 साल हो गए माँ को मरे। वह फोटो अब पुरानी याद बन गई है।
कवयित्री फोटो देखती है - माँ मुस्कुरा रही है, पर अब चुप है, मर गई है। समुद्र आज भी वैसा ही है, पर माँ नहीं है।
कविता सिखाती है कि समय बदलता है, लोग मर जाते हैं, पर यादें और फोटो रह जाती हैं। समुद्र कभी नहीं बदलता, पर इंसान बदल जाता है, मर जाता है।
समय का खेल - बचपन, जवानी, बुढ़ापा, मौत।
